Data retention & deletion

Retention

Active tenant data is retained for the life of the subscription. Audit logs are retained for at least 12 months unless a longer period is configured for compliance.

After account closure, Pepe deletes or anonymises tenant content within 90 days, except backups that roll off on a shorter cycle and records we must keep by law.

Deletion requests

Institutions can request export or deletion via their admin users or by emailing info@pepe.co.ke. End users should contact the institution that collected their data.
